Horsham HFT is an active Hunter Field Target and general airgun club. We are made up of a collection of friendly shooters with a wide range in both abilities and experience.
Whether you are new to airguns, want to improve your shooting ability or want to get involved with the great sport of Hunter Field Target you’ll be able to get helpful advice and banter here. HFT shooters from the club participate in a number of competitions including the Southern Hunters Series and the Sussex Interclub HFT league. Some shooters also choose to participate in the National HFT (UKAHFT) competitions too. You can do as much or as little as you want.
We operate an indoor range two nights at week at which we shoot a variety of activities including practise and training sessions, mini paper target competitions, mini indoor HFT competitions and lots more (including a bit of iron plate pistol shooting). We also have a new outdoor course at which we shoot HFT competitions and home shoots.
Sundays are our main days for shooting HFT and there is normally something on most weekends. Times vary depending on whether we are shooting at our Range or at a competition at another club. but it is usually an all day event. And if the weather is to bad we can allways open the club for some indoor practice.
Our HFT Club Is A New Addition To Our Main Club, The Horsham Rifle And Pistol Club in West Sussex, Which Has Just Celebrated Its 100th Birthday.
New Members To Our Hft Club Automatically Become Members Of This Great Old Club As Well, Which Gives You Access To Other Shooting Disciplines As A Bonus, All Run By Helpful And Experienced Members.
